A warm welcome to all students from the Careers Service at CareerCentral! 

Have you wandered past our new building on The Street yet? If not, why not pop in and say hello- we're very friendly. We've got something for everyone, from first year students to third year students, whether you're wondering about what to do with your summer, or thinking about applying to a graduate scheme.

You may be a PhD candidate or an MBA student, or you may be an international student. Whether you'd like to start your own business, work abroad, or even if you haven't decided yet, we have something for you at CareerCentral.

Did you know that you can access a range of services including...

• A wide selection of events ranging from 'Meet an employer for breakfast in Norwich' to 'How to succeed at Assessment Centres'.

• Get advice and feedback on your CV and cover letter, as well as top tips for applications. 

• Book a session for a longer guidance appointment to consider your future career path

• Access resources to help you think about starting your own business

• Sign up for the mentoring programme and talk to an industry expert. 

• Search for part-time jobs, graduate vacancies and volunteering opportunities

• Look for internships on campus including springboard internship.

• Access our online Careers website, MyCareerCentral to browse resources, book onto events, record your achievements, and much more. 

So, if you are a first year student, why not get ahead - start making use of the resources now.  If you are in your second year, you might want to start thinking about what you are going to do next summer, whether you want to secure an internship, or travel abroad to volunteer. You might need some time to do some extra planning. Similarly, if you are a third year student and want to join a graduate scheme, many organisations have early closing dates, so don't delay - login to MyCareerCentral now, and don't forget you can pop in and see us if you have any questions.
